Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. The legally binding version is the Polish privacy policy.

Here I explain what data the perfit.pl website collects, why and for how long I keep it, and what rights you have. I collect as little as possible: the website does not use cookies or any tools that track visitors.

1. Who is the data controller

The controller of your personal data is Jacek Pecka, running a business under the name PERFIT Jacek Pecka, ul. Bliźniacza 17, 43-346 Bielsko-Biała, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 5591724843, REGON 545215862.

For any matters concerning personal data, please write to: .

2. Contact form (“signing the policy”)

When you send the form, I process the data you enter: email address or phone number and, if you provide them, your first name and message. Your result from the “Scope of cover” section (the percentage and the levels you marked) is also sent with the form, so that our conversation can start from it.

  • Purpose: contacting you about your message and the conversation you have asked for.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to the address in section 1. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before.
  • How long: for as long as needed to deal with the matter, and then no longer than 12 months, unless we start working together – in that case, under the rules that apply to our cooperation.

Providing the data is voluntary, but without an email address or phone number I will not be able to get back to you.

The result from the “Scope of cover” section is your own, indicative self-assessment. It is not used for any automated decisions or profiling.

3. Spam protection

To protect the form from automated spam, for 10 minutes after you send a message I keep an encrypted fingerprint (a so-called hash) of your IP address – not the address itself. It is used only to limit the number of messages sent from one place and is then deleted automatically. The legal basis is my legitimate interest – the security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Server logs

Like every website, the server automatically records basic technical information about visits: IP address, date and time, the address of the page opened and the browser type. This is used only to keep the website secure and working properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept by the hosting provider (section 7) – no longer than necessary to keep the website secure and to investigate any misuse. I do not use them to identify visitors or for statistics.

5. Cookies

The website does not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Facebook pixel). Fonts and scripts load from my own server, not from third-party servers. The website also does not store anything in your browser – the name you enter and the levels you mark disappear when you refresh or close the page. That is why there is no cookie consent request.

6. Links to other websites

If links to other websites appear here, they open only when you click them, and from that moment their own privacy rules apply.

7. Who I share data with

Data may be processed only to the extent needed for the website and email to work, by the hosting and email provider: Prociv Sp. z o.o. (VH.pl), ul. Czerniawska 2A/27, 50-576 Wrocław, Poland.

I do not sell data, I do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area, and I do not make automated decisions or profile anyone based on it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it,
  • have your data corrected,
  • have your data deleted,
  • restrict processing,
  • withdraw your consent at any time,
  • object to processing based on my legitimate interest,
  • data portability – to the extent I process your data based on consent.

To exercise these rights, write to me (address in section 1). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.

9. Changes to this policy

If I change the way data is processed (for example by adding a new feature to the website), I will update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
